A VPN keeps your internet private and safe.
It is like a secret tunnel for your phone.
Open your app store.
On an iPhone it is the App Store. On Android it is the Play Store.
Search for WireGuard. It is free. Tap Get or Install.

Tap the file. A little menu pops up.
Pick WireGuard (it may say “Copy to WireGuard”). It loads all by itself. You type nothing.
Open the WireGuard app.
Tap the switch so it turns on.
If your phone asks “Allow?”, tap Allow. (It may want your face or fingerprint. That is okay.)
A tiny VPN sign shows at the top of your phone. That means it is on. You are done!
Open the WireGuard app and tap the switch off. Turn it back on any time you want.
